We are delighted to announce Roog's latest track is selling by the bucketload on the download portals that matter, currently sitting proud at number 3 in the Dance Tunes chart. Hardsoul's latest hit record is a collobaration with Phonic Funk. The track, a giant slab of dubby funky madness which is interestingly entitled KTDNG, looks set to continue selling well as we move towards the autumn. The package, released on Roog and Erick E's Housequake Records, also features a infectious electro-tinged workout entitled The Fridge. Essential.
Hardsoul Live makes another special appearance, this time at the Castle of Love event at Kasteel Erenstejn. The event takes place in a real castle, an incredible setting which is fitting for Roog and Greg’s quality house sound. 21 August sees the boys get down to action in Kerkrade in the south of Holland, with the duo performing their magic at 18:30.
Hardsoul / DJ Roog are hosting their own arena at Dance Valley 2010, called Roog’s house! Dance Valley is a one of the top dance events worldwide and this shows the power of the Hardsoul brand to take control of an entire stage for the day. Hardsoul Live are scheduled to perform from 15:30 before Roog takes to the decks for another hour. Hardsoul have also invited top DJs such as Chocolate Puma, Born To Funk and David Penn to grace the stage. Dance Valley takes place at its usual home, the Recreatiegebied in Spaarnwoude, just outside Amsterdam on 7 August.
Summer season is in full swing and Roog’s festival bookings continue to flood in. Saturday 21 August sees the diminutive DJ headline the Zomerkriebels Festival in Utrecht. The event takes place at the Vredenburg and Hardsoul’s frontman takes to the stage (set commences at 16:30) for a gig that also features Riva Starr, Gregor Salto, Chocolate Puma and many more.
