The new label launched by the Hardsoul brothers is called Roog & Greg Electronics. The boys are renowned for taking on new and exciting challenges, and starting a new label in these tough times of downloading and declining vinyl sales is one the duo will relish.
Their motivation is simple; the brothers get sent so many cool tracks every week, many of which feature in Roog's versatile DJ sets, that wouldn’t necessarily be suitable for release on the Hardsoul Pressings label and require an alternative outlet. We are referring to stripped down chunky electronic house sounding tracks. Roog and Greg feel the urge to showcase this sound to the world, picking up the best tracks and giving them exposure through the new label instead of letting them vanish into obscurity.
Productions have already been signed by the ever-enthusiastic duo, who have excellent A+R skills, and this latest venture looks set to be as prolific as the boys' other projects. The legendary Nilesh (of Daft Punk fame) of the Exchange mastering house is hired for maximum sound enhancement on every Roog & Greg Electronics release to ensure the pressings cause maximum dance floor mayhem.
